Now interviewing for a full time
Electronics Disassembly Technician
We’re looking for a hands-on, low-ego operator who can quickly disassemble technology, instinctively spot valuable parts, and follow data-security procedures every time.
Every year, Kentucky produces more than 209 million pounds of electronic waste. Globally, we’re on track to hit 181 billion pounds. That’s not a stat. That’s a problem. We’re here to fix it, not with speeches, but with smart hands and better systems. It starts at the workbench, with someone like you.
The work
- Disassemble all kinds of e-scrap: servers, switches, printers, towers, laptops, vintage tech
- Identify/sort components and materials: chips, sticks, sinks, boards, and wires
- Perform secure data destruction with zero shortcuts
- Load and unload trucks, palletize, and pack materials
- Lift, move, organize, and process equipment throughout the shop
- Test equipment for quality assurance when needed
- Communicate clearly with teammates to keep work flowing
- Occasionally greet public drop-off customers and business clients
- Keep the shop clean and pitch in wherever needed–yes, everyone takes out the trash
What’s expected of you
- Able to regularly lift 50–75 lbs
- Self-managed, steady, and on time
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Able to take constructive feedback
- Customer-friendly and respectful to people from all walks of life
- Willing to work in loud, physical, sometimes dirty environments
- Dependable transportation to and from work
- Willing to submit to a background check due to data-security requirements
People who thrive here
- Like solving puzzles with their hands
- Have taken tech apart before—maybe to fix it, maybe just to see what was inside
- Want to know what needs to be done and then do it well
- Are curious, steady, and reliable
- Are comfortable staying in motion
- Enjoy variety in their work
- Want to help build something that matters
What We Offer
- A small, growing team with real purpose
- A culture built on trust, respect, and shared effort
- Flexibility when life happens (because it does)
- Music when it helps. Quiet when it matters.
- PTO that works like this: give notice, don’t abuse it, we’ll make it work
